Located in one of the most evocative and characteristic corners of the upper part of Colle Val d’Elsa, right above the Sapìa Bastion, is the “Pomod’Oro Gourmet” Restaurant / Pizzeria. The restaurant offers interior spaces and an extraordinary panoramic terrace, located above the bastion of Sapìa, where a unique panoramic view opens up to the eye. The Master Piazzaiolo… Antonio da Padova is obsessive in the choice of products and processing techniques to propose the best versions of gourmet pizza. If Pizza is the main dish, no less are the strictly seasonal menus ranging from meat and fish, with proposals that draw from local tradition, sometimes revisited with innovation, others respected in the original recipes. The internal location, modern and welcoming, opens onto two different spaces: a first room where majestic wooden beams and cross vaults welcome the customer, and one lower down. To reach it you have to go down a few steps where there is a space waiting for us that is very reminiscent of the ancient cellars with exposed walls. A more intimate and secluded room where you can breathe the scent of time and where you can learn about Tuscan gastronomy in a cellar atmosphere.
