On the old railway line that connected Colle Val d’Elsa to Poggibonsi, decommissioned in 1987, today, thanks to careful restoration work, a cycle-pedestrian track stretches over 6 kilometers. It is a gentle mobility route inaugurated in 2011 and which connects the two major centers of the Val d’Elsa, crossing beautiful rural and naturalistic scenarios. This stretch is part of a larger network of cycle-tourist routes, thus nourishing and expanding the current regional offer of green and sustainable tourism which already has many kilometers of equipped slopes.
